Job Summary : Area Manager is an important sales & operations role in Safety Footwear Division. Each Area Manager is assigned a specific territory and work area of operation for which he is solely responsible. Role of Area Manager is to manage and grow the business in the territory.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Responsible for achievement of Revenue & pairs target for the assigned territory on monthly basis.
  2. Complete understating of the Industry Market Segments and key win criterion for ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
  3. Complete mapping of all major Industrial customers understand their buying patterns, establishing the relationship with key decision makers and addressing their requirements within reasonable time to maintain the growth momentum of Fuel Industrials brand.
  4. Generate the sound action plan on a monthly basis and prioritize the deliverables in accordance with organizational objectives for the assigned territory.
  5. Mapping of Industrial distributors in the assigned territory as per guidelines of the organization.
  6. Appointment of New Distributors in the unrepresented areas using the selection criterion devised by the Head Office.
  7. Monitor & Control the distributor performance and take necessary steps to correct the the situation in case of poor performance.
  8. Daily follow up with major customers on the existing inquiries to ensure that conversion rate from prospect to Client is maintained above the Industry standard.
  9. Joint visit to all customers along with Distributor Sales team on a regular basis to increase the Customer base among small & medium size customers.
  10. Conduct the Road Shows in major Industrial areas of assigned territory on a regular basis with the Industrial Distributor.
  11. Conduct the technical seminar and offer product display during the National Safety Week Celebrations every year.
  12. Participate in the major Industrial exhibitions to interact with all major customers to understand their requirements & exhibit strengths of Bata Industrials brand.
  13. Generate the exhaustive database of all customers visited in the assigned territory.
  14. Ensure that Customers outstanding in the assigned territory is within the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) norms of the organization.
  15. Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed within a reasonable time with focussed the approach towards total customer satisfaction.
  16. Train the distributor sales force during the customer interactions and provide all necessary Position Description Summary XO Footwear Pvt. Ltd. support to the distributor on day to day basis.
  17. Generate the information on the competitive landscape in the assigned territory including new product launches, pricing information, and policies.
  18. Generate the Win-Loss report for the assigned territory on a monthly basis. Maintaining & monitoring of complete data on submitted bids in the assigned territory.
  19. Ensure that all sampling requirement of major customers in the assigned territory are met within a reasonable time.
  20. Tracking deliveries for orders booked & coordinating with HO for billing & shipment against the invoices.

KEY DELIVERABLES / KEY RESULT AREAS

  1. Achievement of Revenue & pairs targets on Monthly basis.

  8. Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed within a reasonable time with a focussed approach towards total customer satisfaction.

    1. Preparation of Technical & Price Proposal for all B2B Customers.
    2. Preparation & Submission of Tender Papers in line with Customer requirements.
    3.  Helping Customers select the right product.
    4. Territory Planning and Visit to Customer on priority & regular basis

    1. All pricing related & Commercial Terms & Conditions information.
    2. Mutually agreed & most suitable solution for Customer Complaints.

UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Sound understanding of B2B Customers in the assigned territory.
  2. Sound understanding of Industrial applications
  3. Strong Communications Skills and ability to interact with Customers.
  4. Comfortable in a fast paced environment and ability to handle performance related pressures & demanding job-related travel requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹30,000.00 to ₹40,000.00 /month

Experience:   5 years (Preferred)
Education:: Bachelor’s (Preferred)
