Minimum Job Requirements

Educational Qualification: PG DIPLOMA / DIPLOMA IN FOOTWEAR TECHNOLOGY
Experience: 15 year to 20 year of exp. in a Large consumer durable or FMCG company

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

The incumbent must be through in all segment of footwear designing so as to create & execute design concepts and having exposure to current market trends. Candidate should be able to prepare the protocol of designing and demonstrate design leadership through supervision & monitoring of concepts of designers in the team. Must have experience in design and development and R& D department of large footwear.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Commercial

  • Develop and manage pricing / margin strategy for product development and ensure product launches as per the defined strategy.
Customer Oriented Strategy

  • Assist the senior management team in the formulation of company strategy with respect to Product Development and Positioning.
  • Create, in coordination with management, sales, marketing, and executive company’s product development road map
  • Develop and manage a product life cycle management plan to extend the business potential.
People Oriented HR

  • Liaison with HR for head count planning, capability development and  developing a performance oriented culture
Internal Business Process Product Development

  • Implement and lead a unified product development process by managing internal and external. Resources,& collaborate  with cross functional stake holders (across countries and functions), from consumer insights through to launch and post-launch product improvements.
  • Lead creative, technical and program management teams to develop innovative and breakthrough solutions keeping in mind constraints on cost, quality and performance.
  • Plan & deliver product designs which meet specifications and cost criteria within development budget and timetable.
  • Select, manage and maintain relationships with high quality, professional service providers.

IT

  • Define the IT roadmap for product development each year
